An Officer and a Shinshi

Once upon a time, at Nichidimae Elementary School in Japan, there lived a guard.

This guard would stand post outside of the gate of the private school. Natasha-san would see him on Thursdays and Fridays when she left work. With every greeting, she realized that the guard's English was very good.

One day, as Natasha-san was leaving, as she did every week, but something happened.

"It's a beautiful day," said the guard. "Yes it is. And I'm glad it stopped raining, " Natasha-san said. "The day is beautiful. Beautiful like you," smiled the guard.

And they lived awkwardly-seeing-each-other-and-pretending-nothing-was-said ever after.

The End.

......

This compliment would have been adorable and awesome if I were attracted to the guy, but not so much. However, I was thrilled that the pick-up lines I'm getting are improving.

Pick Up-Lines While in Japan

1. Hello, American!? [insert lewd gesture here]
2. I like your noodles. [insert raised eyebrows and lip licking here]
3. [insert laughing] - this may not have been a come on, but I'm going to own it.

Oh Japan, you flirt you.
