She's closing an exhibit at the Whitney on February 3rd. If you've never had the chance to see her work in person, do yourself a favor and go...now.
Her main medium is black silhouette. The detail and storytelling she does is extraordinary. Hands down, Kara Walker is one of the most prolific artists of our time.
