I love all things Texican.

Last night (despite being sicker than a dog) I hung out with one of my best girlfriends to dish about life, work, and men. As a single gal in the city, it's important to have those kinds ladies in your life. The kind that listen, support, and understand you. And the really good ones can make you laugh, even if you have a fever and can't taste your food.

Over what appeared to be shrimp fajitas, I caught up with Kathryn and dished about the aforementioned life, work and men. I talked about how, now that my show has closed, all those things in my life that I didn't have time to worry about are now taking center stage. How, instead of starring in a production about girl gangs in the Bronx, I'm back to starring in my life - a seemingly less complicated dramatic/comedy with fewer plot twists and higher stakes.

It's my hope that life, after teen pregnancy, razor blade fights and drive-bys, will begin to resemble something normal but still retain the excitement and leave me more satisfied.
