It's better than I thought.

Adele's new album, 19 is probably one of the best albums I've heard this year...and last year for that matter. I just got the new CD and I was delighted to find there wasn't a dud on the album - just one glorious jam after another.

I'm a lyrics girl. I mean, I love music for it's sound, that's a given. But what takes music to a whole new level for me are lyrics. Adele wrote 11 of the 12 tracks (borrowing one from Bob Dylan). Her lyrics are honest, raw and soulful. A triple threat in my book.

Her album isn't available in the states just yet, but I suggest that you head to Amazon.com and binge on some of the most delicious ear candy the UK has to offer.
