Batman and Robin

I was walking home last night with Keri. (Keri is half of the lovely couple "Keri and Mario," who teaches at M.I.L. with me). I'm walking home with her because this dynamic duo, who is leaving Japan in September, has bequeathed a TV, TV stand, and a couch to me. (Yeah, they rock).

So as we walk to her apartment to get the first installment, we past the neighborhood park. And there upon a giant cement mound-thingy, sits her husband taking photos of the full moon.

We stop to chit chat for a bit, and wait for him to finish. At one point I stop and look up at the moon. (For those that know me, know that this is something I can be caught doing most). The night could not have been more cool.

Then I saw a night bird.

I follow the night bird through the air where it catches the strong light of a street lamp.

Natasha: If I didn't know better, I'd say that's a bat.
Mario: They all are.

[I look up and see that there are actually 5 "night birds"]

Natasha: ...I just shat myself.
