His name is Foy Vance. His voice and music have rocked my world this year.Foy's album isn't available in the states yet. I had to pay a pretty penny to have a copy strapped to a dolphin and sent across the pond from Ireland (his homebase) to the US where a magical unicorn received it and carried the disc on its horn to my apartment.
He is just that good.
He sings with passion and conviction. His lyrics (I'm a lyrics girl) are beautifully written and powerfully sung. In short, his songs move me. They move me good.
Foy, if you read this you should know I want your babies and at the very least I want to go to your concert in Belfast on New Year's Eve. But as I'm plumb out of unicorn/dolphin money, I will be forced to enjoy your company online.
Our unicorn...and union will have to wait.
